This small gallery, displaying paintings created by Alvaro Berroteran, opens its doors with a dual purpose- not just to promote the art of this Nicaraguan painter, but also to promote the beauty of Granada and to offer tourists the opportunity to take home with them a small memento of their visit to the Gran Sultana.
The gallery is located in the heart of the colonial city of Granada, founded in 1524 and the birthplace of the painter. It is just a stone’s throw from various tourist sites for which Granada is famous, such as its colonial homes and churches. Located just three blocks from the Central Park and three blocks from Granada’s thriving market, we hope residents and visitors of Granada alike will take a stroll by to see the work that is on display and chat with Alvaro about his art and his vision of Granada.
